Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are not always required for in-store visits, but they are recommended for one-on-one tech support, longer consultations, on-site support, or business IT help.

Geek2Go is located at 4552 Main St. in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota.

What areas do you serve?

Geek2Go serves Pequot Lakes and the Brainerd Lakes Area, including Brainerd, Baxter, Nisswa, Crosslake, Breezy Point, Pine River, Jenkins, Emily, and nearby communities.

What types of devices do you repair?

Geek2Go works on phones, tablets, Windows computers, Macs, game consoles, external drives, and select board-level repair cases.

Will I get a quote before repair work starts?

Yes. Geek2Go explains the issue and provides repair options before approved repair work begins.

How long does repair take?

Turnaround depends on the device, issue, parts availability, workload, and testing needs. Some repairs can be completed quickly when parts are available, while others require more time.

What if my device is not worth repairing?

Geek2Go will tell you. We provide repair-versus-replace guidance so you can make a practical decision.

Do you charge for quick tech help?

In-store tech support starts at $29.99 for approximately 15-20 minutes. More involved support, diagnostics, or repair work may be quoted separately.

Do repairs include a warranty?

Qualifying repairs include warranty support based on the device, repair type, parts used, and device condition.

Can you recover my files?

Geek2Go provides data recovery evaluation for hard drives, SSDs, external drives, flash drives, Macs, and Windows computers.

Do you offer mail-in repair?

Yes. Geek2Go offers mail-in repair for select devices and repair types. Please contact us before shipping anything so we can confirm whether the issue is a good fit.

Do you offer remote tech support?

Yes. Remote support is available for eligible software-related issues, email help, account setup, updates, cleanup, and guided troubleshooting.

Do you make house calls?

Yes. Geek2Go offers on-site tech support for select residential and small business issues in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

What is Managed Care?

Managed Care is a technology support, security, monitoring, and maintenance plan for homes or small businesses.

Is Managed Care insurance?

No. Managed Care is not insurance and does not cover accidental damage, theft, broken screens, liquid damage, or hardware replacement.

Device protection, Display Shield, refurbished computers, and electronics recycling.

What is MyProtection?

MyProtection is a device protection plan for eligible phones that helps reduce unexpected repair costs. Plans start at $5.99/month and include up to two claims per year.

What is Display Shield?

Display Shield is a one-year screen guarantee included with qualifying screen repairs. If you break your screen again within one year, Geek2Go replaces the screen for the deductible.

Do you sell used computers?

Yes. Geek2Go sells refurbished laptops and desktops. Inventory varies, but we commonly carry Dell business-class laptops and OptiPlex desktops.

Do you recycle electronics?

Yes. Geek2Go accepts many electronics for free recycling, including desktops, laptops, Macs, smartphones, tablets, game consoles, components, and peripherals. TVs and printers are not accepted at this time.
